これまで，さまざまな精神症状および神経症状の背後にある神経メカニズムが少しずつ解明されていたが，感情・記憶・社会性といった認知機能の低下や歪みを生じさせる背景として，自律神経活動の状態およびその感知と制御が深く関わっていることが明らかになりつつある．本講演では，自律神経の基礎的なメカニズムを解説した後，それがどのようなメカニズムで精神疾患や神経疾患における諸症状を生み出すのかに焦点を当てた代表的な研究および理論について詳述する．そして，そのような症状を捉える際に，「脳―心―身体」の三者関係の理解が不可欠であることについて述べる．

研究概要

情動・記憶・社会性の認知神経メカニズムに興味を持っています。高次脳機能障害を対象とした神経心理学的方法、fMRIや脳波を用いた脳機能画像法、自律神経機能を調べる生理心理学的手法を用いて研究を行っています。
